Arte di LANN arises from the encounter between artistic research, matter, and digital tools.
Every Arte di LANN artwork is associated with a reference digital file protected by an invisible marker. The protected file and the relative Certificate of Authenticity are registered on the blockchain, creating a documentary continuity between the author, the digital work, the certification, and the physical piece.
The goal is to maintain a verifiable link over time between the author, the work, the reference file, and the physical piece, preserving its identity, provenance, and collector's value.
1. Controlled Edition
Arte di LANN works intended for printing are produced in a limited edition of up to a maximum total of 30 pieces, broken down by formats and supports, in addition to the Artist's Proof.
Each piece is numbered and registered. Once the established edition is completed, the edition is definitively closed and no further copies belonging to the same edition are produced.
2. Certificate of Authenticity
Each work is accompanied by an Arte di LANN Certificate of Authenticity, containing the main identifying information: title, collection, format, support, edition number, author's signature, and archive references.
The certificate documents the link between the work and the specific piece belonging to the buyer's collection.
3. Preparation and Authorial Intervention
Before physical production, the files of the works undergo, where necessary, professional optimization and further manual digital interventions by the author.
This phase constitutes part of the creative and refining process of the work and precedes the subsequent protection, certification, and production procedures.
The operational methodologies, tools, and detailed procedures used by Arte di LANN are part of the reserved authorial process.
4. Artistic Plates
The Arte di LANN Artistic Plates are made on Bauscher porcelain, Option series, 32 cm diameter, starting from original Arte di LANN graphics.
The decoration is created using photoceramic decalcomania and undergoes third-firing at up to approximately 880 °C at a specialized artisanal laboratory.
Each subject is produced in 12 pieces + 1 Artist's Proof. The pieces are numbered, registered, and accompanied by the relative Certificate of Authenticity.
Works intended for porcelain also follow the Arte di LANN system of file preparation, protection, and documentation before physical production.
5. Digital Protection and Blockchain
The reference files of the works can be protected using an invisible digital marker and registered through blockchain notarization systems.
These tools supplement the traditional documentation of the work by providing additional elements regarding its existence, dating, provenance, and traceability to the author.
Digital registration does not replace the Certificate of Authenticity, but completes its protection system.
6. Image Monitoring
Arte di LANN uses protection and monitoring tools aimed at identifying any unauthorized use of images of its works on the web.
The system does not materially prevent the copying of an image, but can contribute to strengthening its traceability, provenance, and authorial documentation.
7. Protection of Rights
In the presence of unauthorized use or documented violations, the archived information, certifications, and digital protection tools can be used to support the protection of the author's rights.
When necessary, Arte di LANN may avail itself of specialized professional and legal assistance.
