Protection and Authenticity

Introductory paragraph:
Arte di LANN started as a digital art project. Each artwork is followed from the idea to the print file, with an integrated protection system designed to give lasting value to those who choose to collect it.

1. Controlled Print Run

Arte di LANN artworks are produced in a limited edition of a maximum of 30 copies, divided by size and medium, plus one artist's proof. When a specific copy is sold, it will not be reprinted on that medium and in that size again. Once the 30 copies are sold out, that artwork will never be reproduced again in any variation on any medium.

2. Certificate of Authenticity

Each print is accompanied by a certificate (in JPEG and, upon request, printed on Fine Art paper) which contains the essential information of the artwork and attests to its authenticity:

  • title of the artwork and collection it belongs to
  • format, print medium, and print run number
  • artist's signature
  • issue date and archive references
  • buyer's name
  • any personalizations for dedications or poems.

3. Blockchain Registration (Dedit.io)

For each artwork, blockchain registration will be used via the Dedit.io service. This step allows a specific digital file (or an archive of files) to be associated with a certain date and proof of authorship:

  • technical attestation that the artwork existed in that form on a certain date
  • link between author and original file
  • additional probative support in case of disputes

Blockchain does not replace the physical certificate of authenticity but integrates it with an unchangeable and easily verifiable digital trace.

4. Invisible Marker and Global Image Surveillance

Arte di LANN artworks and their associated images are integrated into a comprehensive protection system that combines invisible digital watermarks, web surveillance, and blockchain notarization. This set of tools aims to reinforce the authenticity, provenance, and traceability of the artwork, as well as to identify any unauthorized uses of the images on websites, platforms, and promotional materials.

The system may include:

  • invisible digital watermark associated with the artwork's reference files
  • periodic monitoring of online usage
  • reports and notifications in case of unauthorized use
  • blockchain notarization to support authorship, dating, and documentary continuity of the artwork

Each buyer receives, along with the artwork, the relevant authenticity and traceability documentation, as well as a certified file with an integrated invisible watermark, associated with the artwork as a digital protection and monitoring reference.

This system does not materially prevent the copying of an image but reinforces its traceability, attribution to the author, and the protection of related rights.

5. Legal Assistance in Case of Unauthorized Use

In the presence of clear and documented violations, specialized legal assistance can be activated to protect copyright and recover any economic or reputational damages.
